The 1969 ZL-1 427 Corvette was an L-88 Corvette, but with an all-aluminum 427 big-block engine. This was an all-out racing engine NOT intended for street use. Priced at $4,718, only 2 were built, as the high price DOUBLED the cost of the car. This was an all-out racing setup.
