Mark Twain was a genius story teller with a wit that is as relevant today as it was in his time, well over 100 years ago. He used his pointed sense of humor to lampoon authority figures, especially the government and the political system.
That is why his quote, "If voting made a difference, they wouldn't let us do it." still rings true. He was a wiseguy in more than one way!
